While reviewing our staffing and resource needs, it was suggested to me that I consider contracting a virtual assistant for administrative support. I'm the Executive Director of a very small non-profit organization with limited staffing, so I decided to give it a try and was referred to Jody from a few contacts.
We started with a month-to-month contract for administrative support for our board of directors, taking minutes and helping me with administrative duties related to board meetings. I quickly learned that Jody's skill set could provide a great deal more support for our organization, so when we needed additional help with our annual winter light up event, I approached Jody about assisting us with coordinating the event. She became an invaluable asset to making our event a success! I now know I have another person I can rely on for not only administrative support, but also event management.
